GreenDay : Boulevard of Broken Dreams

This is one song which i almost relate to very instantly and feel very deep about it. GreenDay was a band formed in 1987. This Punk Rock band was formed by singer / guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, Bassist Mike Dirnt and Drummer Tre Cool.

They faded away after a few good numbers. It became kind of just heavy metal with no focus on music and lyrics for them. Personally i do not like GreenDay - but just for two or three odd songs they have done. This band does not have that sting that other legends have manage to generate and retain.

Kurt Donald Cobain

My first post comes for a artist i have always admired for his sheer depth and passion for music.

Kurt Cobain - was the founder and lead singer / guitarist of the American Grunge band Nirvana. He formed the band along with Kirst Novoselic. K Co; had great musical influences in his early days like The Beatles  from where he loved humming the song "Hey Jude".

Kurt Cobain had great interest in and followed classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/ DC, Black Sabbath & Queen. What moved me towards following and always listening to this great legend artist was one song Come As You Are...Its Lyrics and music have such deep sense and meaning to it.

I will share other singles written and sung by him that have moved me over a period of time.
